Bhoomi Pooja at Amaralingeshwara Kona, on Varalakshmi Vratham

We did the Bhoomi Pooja on Varalakshmi Vratham, before any construction, and asked for the work ahead to go well.

There was no plan that day. No drawing, no budget, no list of what we would build. I knew the path was dangerous and I knew I wanted to put steps in, and that was the whole of it.

Three years and three months later the last shrine went up. I did not know that on the day, and if somebody had told me I would not have believed them.
