I have been posting for years without knowing who I was talking to

I did not build anything today. I sat down with an agent and went through everything I have ever put on YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn, and counted it properly for the first time.

The film that tells a year of the work is eight minutes long, it has been public since March 2024, and it has 27 views. When I first saw that I did not think the title was wrong. I thought nobody cares.

One of my reels has been watched 709,689 times. So people do watch what I make, and there was nowhere for them to go afterwards. In the last ninety days one person tapped the link on my Instagram. The word road does not appear in any of the 217 captions I have written, and the temple does not appear in any of the 116 things I have put on LinkedIn.

If you ask me who my audience is, I do not know. I have been making random videos and posting them, on all three, for years. The recording was so that somebody would store it. There was never an agenda.

I decided two things. One YouTube channel, not a new one. I have started again more times than I want to count and it has never helped, and the old videos are the only thing I have that nobody else has. And one Instagram account, in my own name, not a brand.

I am not doing this to succeed. I think this will take my whole life and might not finish. What I want is for the idea to reach people, and today was me admitting I do not understand the places I have been trying to reach them from. I want to spend the next several months learning that properly, and posting the learning as I go.

I have not decided what I make first.
