I threw a stone and told Shiva I was starting

For a year after the steps I did nothing at the temple. I worked in a rice shop, left it, went back to preparing for GATE and started teaching myself Python and data science. I did not have a job and I did not know what I was doing.

Before Mahashivaratri I prayed to Dakshinamurti and asked to be shown a way. I spent that Mahashivaratri at the temple, the whole of it, which is what I have done every year since 2016.

The Monday after, I went back and did the abhishekam. Walking down afterwards I had about five thousand rupees on me. I picked up a stone and threw it and said I was starting the work today.

I bought tools with the five thousand. That was the budget and that was the plan.
